For Fall 2023, not 2022! Invited to interview in March, but was also reached out to and interviewed by a professor in the days just before the notification.

I'm SO happy! This is my dream program and I've been admiring this PI's work for a long time!!!! Received invitation to interview online in March.

Received an email from faculty, a call from faculty, and an email. Virtual interviews in March.

Invitation by PI for preliminary interview

for fall 2023

Received notification via email on Dec. 18. Secondary program choice.

Guess this is the end of it.

Got an email from POI of interest about the offer. The decision came pretty late compared to the usual timeline. But there were follow up meetings with POI and other faculty in between the interview and the final decision. Excited!

IGNORE WAITLIST. I interviewed back in January and attended the open house. It's been about 2 months now and I've got crickets… anyone hear back yet?

Any group for those joining UCSD this fall (2022)?

Second time, I've tried to apply to the PhD program last year, failed, so I tried it again this year for the Master's one, failed again... sad
