Interview mid-January - the decision took 8 weeks

2a, 3r, 0p--not surprising since I am a qual scholar and they are more quant-focused

very excited! coming straight from undergrad with a 3.89 GPA (2a, 3r, 0p)

standard rejection--hurt a bit 2a, 3r, 0p

Whoops, realized a letter about funding was attached to the acceptance page in the portal. No funding, so not sure what the next move is for me.

Accepted with funding & assistantship.

Call from DGS. Fully funded. Will accept, as this is my top choice program.

Very excited, but still waiting to hear from the department about funding. Email was a robot telling me my status had been updated on the application portal. Anyone hear about funding yet?

Women's History program

so scared bc it was an email to check the portal but i got accepted !

Email to check portal. PI: CB. Got 8 rejections, then this. Hang in there all. You only need one!

$13k scholarship. Shows some schools really do release decisions piece-meal!

I'm so surprised!!!! Average GPA and GRE scores, but great statements. This was my favorite program, so happy to get accepted!!

scored 335 on GRE and high GPA in undergrad from a prestigious university in US. didn't get in any of my top choices. concluded that this admission cycle is a scam

Had to email the grad department as they never got back to me. I am pretty shocked, as I spoke to faculty prior to the application and they were the ones who urged me to apply. I wonder if it has to do with budget cuts like the Sociology program. If the rejection was not based on funding, I am unsure what they are looking for in applicants. I was a strong candidate and knew the faculty's work well. Very disappointed.
