Research area: Power Electronics || Applied for PhD ECEE in Dec beginning || opted to be considered for MS incase rejected for PhD || didn't get positive response from PIs || in March beginning, application automatically got changed from PhD to Professional MS in ECEE || in April beginning, it again changed to just MS in ECEE || finally received official admit for traditional MS in ECEE

TTPB: From what I have heard, UCLA does have funding for MS students, but for that one needs a research advisor (better if you contacted/interviewed with a faculty previously).

Accepted to EC93 (ML/DS) spec. Leaning towards my Georgia tech admit.

Ignore waitlist. TTPB - the person asking about UCLA poi initials. Actually, the email I received did not mention any prof initials. It just mentioned that after I accept the offer, I will be assigned an academic advisor, but I am not sure if that entails an RA/TA opportunity with funding. My area is ML AI Vision. I am confused at this point whether to accept the offer. Does UCLA offer RA/TA-ships for MS students?

Got admit in MLDS specialization. Will probably go to Georgia Tech.

To the person who applied for PhD and got MS on 5 April: Congrats. Could you share your prof.'s initials (if you don't mind)? Also, are you planning to accept the offer?

My application status has not been updated to Admitted/Rejected. But I received this message in the MS ECE Application: IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PROVISIONALLY ADMITTED STUDENTS: As this is the busiest time of year for reviewing applications, we will not be reviewing official documents until June 2021 for incoming Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 students. I had mailed the grad coordinator a couple of days ago only to receive a highly ambiguous response - "should be out at any point in the next few days". Has anyone here received admission to Austin?

Track: ML and DS. ECE Undergrad from Tier-1 IIT. CGPA: 8.81/10. No Publications. >2.5yr work experience. Didn't see this coming as most results are out already and got no response/result from around 10 colleges; maybe they are keeping an internal waitlist. Everyone keep up the hopes! It's not all over until the result is out.

Rejected at UVA, USC, UMD, GW. But I'm staying in Europe for PhD. Good luck everyone.

Have any masters stem srudents for fall 2021 recieved funding information? I was admitted in Feb and havent recieved any notice of funding.
