Was my top choice. Bummed out. Got accepted for my undergrad with scholarship on entrance and designation of 10000 dollars. Bur still had financial constraints so couldn't go. Sucks

deferred, offered spot in winter/spring term, waitlisted for summer/fall term

E-mailed Catherine Con to check status. Some poetry applicants have been accepted but there are a few more spots open and in review. Fingers crossed!

Today was a little bit of a downer. 1a/2w/5r/2p

Rejected via email to check website. Oh well! Looks like I'm definitely leaving the east coast. 2a/2w/5r, 3 pending.

Not unexpected. 0a/1w/7r/6p

What a lame letter.

To the person asking about UVA Poetry: someone privy to UVA wrote in MFA Draft '17 that the faculty meet this weekend to make decisions. Expect notifications beginning next week!

Womp womp again. Got an email to check the application website. Still waiting on 3...

Any news on UVA poetry acceptances? Did anyone have an interview? Anyone know when we'll hear?

Concerning UC Riverside...they generally accept 15-18 students a year. Is it possible that they've already reached out to the 15-18 and that those accepted are completely oblivious to gradcafe? Possible. If one acceptance has already gone out, then it is probably safe to assume several applicants have been notified.

Boo. Your fiction prof creeped me out at AWP, anyway. 2a/1w/8r, 5 pending....

Very kind email stating that 3/4 of waitlist has historically been offered spots.

Peeved it took so long to notify. The letter was kind, though, and stated the applicant pool was one of the most competitive in recent memory. They admitted "fewer than 15% of applicants."
