Met one of the POIs mentioned by chance recently, and I think he has no idea that I had applied even though he is familiar with my work....Do they even really look at all the applications?!?

I've received an interview with UdeM professor. It seems that his all interviews are finished a week ago, and it seems that Ms / Ph.D applicants are put in the same pool. And the final decision will come out in one weeks.

FYI: They are sending out rejection slowly, and all the offers are already been sent out several day ago.

Same generic rejection email. Still expecting good news from other schools though!

Deliberations have been going on for a while -- PhD students in my lab have been gone for hours at a time to help the admissions committee. I assume that if they told me that admissions decisions were finalized, it means that they'll release them soon.
