Email from graduate coordinator with offer letter and funding

Received a call from head of the department that I was accepted and received full tuition remission. Said he will follow the call with an email which will have more information.

Did anyone hear back from UCSD?

To the person who asked the question. They don't accept or reject everyone at the same time. It depends on many factors. You could have a positive or negative answer in a few weeks or months (Some people get accepted on April 15). It is unlikely that your status will change on the Website. eEven if you got accepted, that might take a while. I don't know how it is for IS people, but if you applied for composition and were not interviewed by now, it doesn't look very good.

To the person below who got accepted into the composition PhD at UCSD, did the email make it seem like decisions have been made for the entire music department, or just the composition discipline? Just wondering bc my app says "under review" for PhD Music (Integrative Studies), and I got neither a rejection nor an acceptance.
