Generic Rejection

Anyone got waiting list of {MSR MSCV MRSD} at CMU RI? There were waiting list but I did not find this year.

Finally received my first admit. Undergrad from SPPU. 2 papers in IEEE and Springer each.

Generic rejection. Top choice :(

TTPB from IIT: I'm from IIT too and I can totally understand what you are going through. However, don't lose hope and if you don't get an admit from anywhere, work as a RA for a year and then reapply. Unlike MS, RA positions are fully funded. Good luck!

TTPB asking about PhD admits: I think quite a few admits are yet to be sent out – I see only 7-8 early acceptances below. I assume they are running a little late this session. 🤞It's one of my top choices too!

Interviewed by professors in early Feb.

Received a mail "Your decision will be available after the close of business this evening." Able to see the offer letter on the applyweb! Finally, the first offer I have ever got! Field: Security

MSAII rejected. Not my top choice anyway. I don't really care tbh.

I don’t know what to say. An IIT undergrad, with papers. 9.5 ish Gpa which translates to 3.9 to 3.95 on 4. Papers aren’t top tier. Have 2 in Core B rankings. What can I do when the best profs at my university publish at top venues once in a blue moon and I am talking about India’s best universities. I didn’t even apply to masters coz I don’t have enough funds to support my education. Complete depression now :(

I honestly don't know why would I be rejected for this program.

Has UMich sent all the PhD offers, or it depends on the areas/faculties?
