Area: CV/ML.

Thank you for applying to the Computer Science Ph.D. Program at Stanford University. The Ph.D. Admissions Committee has reviewed your application and we are sorry to inform you that the committee did not recommend you for admission. The number of applicants far exceeds the number of those we can admit, which makes the admissions process a difficult and painstaking one. As a result, many strong candidates must be turned down. We wish you every success in satisfying your educational and career goals.

TTPB: Did you receive an official letter? Could you share your background? Thanks.

Good LORs.

Hope those who have better choices withdraw MSR. Dream Program.

To the 'accepted' guy flexing at the guy with the 'Turing' comment - I don't think he says anything wrong. I have 4 publications - all 1st authored (2 in 1st tier conferences), 3 research jobs, 2 research internships, a research startup - all in the field I've applied to and I still didn't get in (though I got in someplace better). There has been a proven bias towards applicants with the so-called 'networking' advantage, undergrad alumni and the likes, etc. Your research acumen is clearly below mine (and personality too given how you're trying to prove your self worth) but you still got in. That says something.

Area: ML/AI no interview. 3 first author papers.

Did anyone who checked the box to be considered for MS receive an email today saying they will be considered for MS?

No interview, Area: ML. So excited! Also have got into Berkeley, CMU, and UW.

Area - AI/ML
