Rec'd rejection on portal as "Admission Declined". Rec'd a message on portal with a generic message the next day saying the same.

Canadian applicant with a BSc. in Kin from UWaterloo. Rec'd $2000 entrance scholarship.

To the below poster, which track of the public health masters were you accepted into?

To everyone who is waiting to hear back from UCI, I reached out to them to see if they have sent out all decisions. They said that they are still deciding, and will notify everyone of whether they are accepted or rejected (Which I am taking to mean that they wont leave hovering applications will be left in the limbo of "Under Review"). So I am taking this as everyone who hasn't received an offer, we aren't out of the race just yet!

I can't believe I got into my first choice of school! This is surreal!

this stung a bit- Cal Alum, did an additional 2 year counseling program through UC B Extension, solid work experience in gritty social services in SF, solid GPA/ letters of rec. public school admissions is becoming rigged

It's a big disappointment to me and I guess a loss to Berkeley (GPA: 4.00 (A+)/4.00 at Cal). Good publications and GPA, but very bad GRE (and being an asian), which may be the reasons.

Contacted Admissions after no response in over 2 months. Proceeded to alert me later today that a decision had been reached. Decision dated today. Turns out they waited to make a decision only after I contacted them. It's as if they ignored my application, only to make a noncommittal decision 4 hours later. Not my top school but still very unprofessional.
