Was really flattered for I thought Harvard EALC is merely a lottery. Did my master's degree in regional studies at a top Asian university.

Under PHS. Interest in environmental + maternal Epi. Reached out by faculty of interest to meet early next week.

Email from POI. (HEAL PhD)

Hey there! Saw someone posting about their Harvard EALC interview. Had mine yesterday too. May I ask what's your subfield? I do Japanese film and anime, especially interested in directors like Anno Hideaki.

Informal interview with 2 POIs mentioned in my SoP. The interview was about 30 min, and they didn't ask me any difficult questions. The remaining time was for me to ask them questions about the program.

Master GPA ~3.8, now working full time as RA. Got good letters, one from UC Berkeley PI and another from Cornell PI. Haven't received any updates. Probably rejected. Good luck to everyone else.

Received an email to schedule an interview with POI for next week. No prior contact.

Received nothing, assuming rejection

I'm an undergraduate Biology major getting a BS from Temple University
