Joint Anthro-MES PhD - not a total surprise since they only take 2 students at most, and some faculty suggested they might not take any anthro candidates this year

Email to check Portal

Grad GPA listed. Undergrad GPA: 3.25 Status on portal remained "In Review" so I reached out to Grad Coordinator via email, who told me I was supposed to receive waitlist letter but did not, and that I was on the waitlist. Third time applying to UT- first Waitlist then denied, second just denied, now WL again.

Didn't get an interview so was expecting this. Congrats to those who got in!

Didn't get a call for interview so I was expecting it. Not too bummed since I wasn't very keen on going.

287 applicants and only interviewed 7%, from which fewer were actually admitted

Had an incredibly cordial and positive correspondence with a faculty before applying; wasn't selected for an interview though. Well… it's Stanford.

General email sent to check the portal. Decision letter was present on the application page. I knew it was too long after getting skipped for interviews to be good news, but it still hurts.

Rejection letter posted to portal after interview. Not a very good fit, so not too bummed.

Was never asked to interview

No email, just checked the portal and the update was there. Not really bummed out; have already received offers from schools higher on my list.

I did not receive an interview and guessed the result of being rejected. Congratulations to those who were accepted.

Email to check portal for the decision.
