Received a phone call from one of the poetry professors! 5a/1w/0r/4p

MA Gpa is 3.7 Email from DGS. Was expecting it at this stage when other people were offered a few weeks ago. Still gutted!

really kind email from dgs, congratulations to those admitted. saw some dejected posts for these rejections. for those of us waitlisted or rejected, dont let this get you down! the caprice of a commissions committee with specific interests that we cannot foresee do not dictate the extend of your worth or potential as a scholar. you will either thrive at another program or excel in another career. wishing the best for you all! we're in this together

Ignore the status. Has anyone heard from UW? When shall we be informed about the final result?

Received an email from the director of graduate studies. 3rd rejection of the season. Looking for something to keep the spirits going.

Wrote in email.

GPA is MA, 5a/3w/1r/2p

Glad they sent out rejections and notifications on the same day as acceptances. I am not disappointed as this wasn't a top choice or best fit. Weird that I got into a top 20 program last week (that I also didn't think was a good fit) and then was rejected here. Just another example of how complicated I'm sure this decision process is.

3r/4p - this was my top choice, this is really rough news to hear

this fucking sucks

Wasn't the best fit anyway. 1a/7r/7p

Notified of rejection via email. Applied for MA/PhD program.

this is the second time they've waitlisted me, I'm so over it lol. 3a/1r/1w/3p

GPA is undergrad. Received an email with my acceptance and recruitment award. 2a/2r/0w/2p
