finally came with a very simple message.

International student with a McGill Economics/Math degree. Conditional offer upon 3.7/4.0 in this semester. Was given the condition upon emailing the faculty asking if there was one or if this was unconditional. Did anyone else get a condition attached as well?

Has anyone heard back anything from this school?? Please let me know.

Anyone else in the DPhil in Information Communication and the Social Sciences hear back about funding? Are you guys accepting the offer?

To Ires poster from earlier... I got an email saying this: "We are in the process of finalizing our admissions pool and hope to have this confirmed by mid to late April. All applicants will be notified through the online admission system with a letter." At this point, I'm assuming I got rejected. Therefore, good luck to anyone who does get accepted! :)

Notification went up on the portal yesterday, got a form email today. I've had a pitch accepted for an anthology that I'll be working on this spring and summer, so I'm less bummed than I might have been. Congrats to everyone who made it!

Got a Graduate Assistantship in the Master of Arts Program valued at $10,211 per year and tuition fee waiver. Great program, but got a PhD offer with a much more generous funding. Will be declining the offer hopefully this can help someone. 6a/2r/1w/10.

Does anyone know the timeline for offers or has anyone heard anything from the department?

I happened to check the Web site: "decision has been made." I have not received an official e-mail and none of my e-mails to the program throughout this process were answered. I also had to prove I was a US citizen early on, which has never happened in my life. Needlessly frustrating admissions process at Alabama.

To the person who posted below: I called the school and they said that the decisions are still pending, and they will be extending admissions till mid-April. My chances look slim since I haven't received a phone interview yet. Do you mind sharing the interview Qs and what to expect?

Has anyone heard from UTA's I/O program? I was interviewed as a finalist before spring break but haven't heard anything else back!
