Email to check online portal.

I've been refreshing this page hourly for weeks. I can't believe I'm typing on it now.1A / 5R / 7P

High on the list. The wait list is split (high and low pools).

Got a congratulatory phone call and informed that formal admission emails will go out tomorrow or Monday. After a clean sweep of rejections last year, this season has been the most pleasant surprise. 1a/2w/3r/2p

Just got word that I am going to be fully funded through a TA position! (Accepted on 1/31)

To the posters below: I received the same email you did, also without ever being notified as to admission status. I was confused and so I reached out to Marnie Leonard, asking her what it meant. I wrote: "Thank you for letting me know. I wasn't aware that I was accepted to the MFA program to preclude me being considered for a GTA. Does this mean I have been accepted, or is this merely a preliminary item?" She replied, "This is preliminary and, although I can't specify more, you are welcome to draw a logical conclusion. 😊" Like with the happy face at the end. I'm taking that as an informal acceptance, but you guys sure don't have to, I understand not wanting to count chickens before they hatch. Let me know what you think. I cant imagine them bothering to run background checks on unadmitted people.

I got an email saying I'm being considered for the GTA but I have to complete a background check. The email seems generic, and I haven't received any form of acceptance yet. I logged into my portal and my status stills says submitted. What?? Is anyone experiencing the same confusion??

Recieved a call. Don't remember the name since I was freaking out but official letters will be sent by email on friday or Monday.

So excited! Hang in there. I'd been despondent yesterday after some rejections. 1a/1w/3r/6p

Got a very nice email from Steve Tomasulo, promising a phone call later in the week to go over details. I am probably going to have to turn this offer down, so if you make it to the waitlist, keep an eye on your inbox!!

Email from Don Lee with funding offer (about $20k a year for GTA). Honestly a somewhat offputting email, asking me to tell them within a week whether I'm likely to accept or decline the offer. Other intel is that they'll have open houses on March 19, March 26, and April 2.

Got an email. 24k a year. Dying. Devit Leavitt wants to schedule a call with ME! ME!
