I was on the wait list, but got an unofficial e-mail from the DGS today, notifying me that an offer is forthcoming.

To the poster below about NYU and UConn- very different programs but both are great options. NYU is certainly more expensive & so is living in the city so it just depends if that is of concern to you.

Rejected from Social Psychology PhD, but accepted to I/O Psychology Master. Already got into one of my top choices, but it was still nice to know what happened at NYU.

I applied this program for Fall 2014. Deadline was February 1st. I have waited for about 2 months and still don't get any news from the school. Has anybody received the email yet?
