TTPB: Probably, you are a domestic applicant. Seems like some of international Ph.D. applicants are not invited to the on-campus interview. Did you have an interview before receiving the e-mail about the campus-visit?

All phd students invited to campus on 2-21/22 for interview weekend.

Today the receptionist said they are wrapping up reviewing. Expect an email about acceptance into the program next week. Made it sound like the "interviews" are just visit days to campus with informal meeting with profs to see if you want to accept their offer or not. Those days are still being hashed out between professors but once everyone finalizes a date, I'm pretty sure that's when they'll send in offers next week. Good luck to everyone, Best.

I received an invite to SICE-wide (school-wide) PhD campus visit on Feb 20-22. I hope it is a good signal to be accepted. (My top choice.)

Funding guaranteed for third, fourth and fifth year (maybe second year as well); I have an external funding for the first year that covers tuition and living expense. I was exempted from assistantship for the first year.

The admissions committee is interested in having you take an English proficiency exam (called the TEPAIC) via Skype to access your English ability.

Was called and told that I was on a short list. Asked if I had any questions and if I had been accepted in any other school. Told me I was on the top of the short list so made it seem like it was an acceptance and they just wanted to get a feel of me.

EVERYONE WORRIED ABOUT INDIANA STATE: they have ONLY contacted their undergrads. everyone admitted so far went to ISU for undergrad. everyone outside of ISU has not been contacted. they usually notify applicants late February.

Yeah, I'm very concerned too. Especially because there were two people on here that said that they got in. One goes to school there now, but I'm not sure about the other one. I'm hoping to hear something this week. They have watched my youtube video twice.
