Anyone heard back from Rutgers? International or Americans? Any news from the Department?

Got a kind, personal email from Kathleen saying I was a member of a group of finalists, but didn’t make the cut.

Has anyone who was waitlisted here heard anything? It's been awhile and I'm getting anxious.

Rutgers has sent out 4 offers and 4 have been accepted. They are not going to send out more offers at this point. If you are on the waitlist, you can wait until April 15 or even early May. If they cannot fill the spots of other 9 areas, they may consider sending out extra offers to people on the finance waitlist.

TPB: Feb 27. They already sent out 4 offers. Two were accepted and two were pending. We might have to wait until April 15. I called the office and found out that I am on the waitlist of 8 people. You could call but the person who can tell you your status isnt always there to answer the call.

My interview was on 27 feb. When was your interview?

Just a random check on the portal to see if it still said "No decisions." I'm actually really excited to be waitlisted as this is my #1. If anyone is definitely not planning on attending, please let them know ASAP! 1a/2w/5r/0p

Harvard masters degree

Emailed a professor that I had spoken with previously, got a reply that no more "rounds" of admission will be made, but individuals may come off the waitlist nearing the April 15th deadline. Please decline if you have another offer! Rutgers may be my only chance.

Generic email/letter saying the program was too competitive and unfortunately they haven't admitted me. Weird because they mentioned test scores however during the application process they said test scores aren't required anymore for this PHD, hence why I applied. Nevermind.

GPA is grad. I just called the office and found out I am on the waitlist (8 people). There is no position assigned on the waitlist. They have sent out 4 offers. 2 offers were accepted and 2 were pending. They are gonna evaluate everyone on the waitlist if either or both currently with offers reject. They said the class size is likely not going to be over 4. Rutgers is my dream school. If you are one of the people who got offers but are going to go to other programs, please let them know as soon as possible. Thank you very much!
