To the frustrated poster below - I am still waiting to hear the official word from Waterloo. I have applied for other Engineering branch, not CS. Their Engineering page says decisions will be sent out 8-10 weeks from application deadline. Mine was Feb 1 so this upcoming week will be the 10th week. Hopefully, they'll release their decisions out this week. Hope this helps.

Got offered masters thesis option. Received an email from a prof whom I listed as preferred. Field is TCS. Since I accepted offer elsewhere, I emailed to reject.

MMath CS (Thesis). Unofficial mail from a POI. We've been corresponding over email the last 4-5 days. Super excited!

I applied to UK universities 1 month after applying to Waterloo and I already received their results in a period of 2 months. Does anybody else think Waterloo is taking too much time to assess all the applications? They already rolled out acceptance for applicants who had interviews. I feel they are keeping the rest of us hanging and like last year they'll not respond to us by April end. I didn't received any mail so far and it has been 3 months now.

MMath Thesis - Unofficial mail from POI

Official offer but received an unofficial offer in early February. Currently in another graduate program at Waterloo.

To the posters below, I just checked previous responses on gradcafe and the result rollout is pretty irregular. In most cases, waterloo gave notifications that results will come out as late as April end. Some people also got admits by early May. I think contacting the Admissions Office would be the best course of action.

In a similar situation to the poster below, I have to choose between a job offer or masters. Haven't heard anything from them yet, save for a e-newsletter that the recruitment coordinator had sent.

To the masters applicants, when are the results rolled-out? I am desperately waiting for results from Waterloo as I have to choose between masters or a job offer I have. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

Had a matching interest with the potential advisor and good research experience with one international and one national publication. 9/10 GPA, Amongst top in class both undergrad and Top 5 in Grad. 1 Good LoR, 2 average LoR. A bit off on AWA section of GRE but I think I made up for that while interviewing with the potential supervisor.
