Got accepted off the waitlist with no scholarship. This is incredibly exciting (and stressful) and I did not think I could pull it off! Did some extracellular activities in newspapers, 7 recommendations letter and extra waitlist letter and 4 internships.

Got accepted off the waitlist! No scholarship though :-(

Canadian undergrad, was sent email telling me to check online portal

Master of Science in Journalism

No offer yet (international but got my BA at UofT); posted as an acceptance for any luck! Has anyone else heard back yet? I sent my application Nov 2020 w a hefty portfolio and i'm getting a tad nervous.

(Canadian student) Honoured! But no mention of funding so may not be able to accept.

I emailed the SOC on 04/13 asking for an update, and was admitted the next day! UM was my top choice so I am beyond excited & happy!

9,000 per semester scholarship

Previously waitlisted, accepted via email

Has anyone heard back from this program?? Still waiting for a decision.

no financial aid but this is my dream program!!!! will start applying to scholarships everywhere I can. can't believe it!!

Rejected from the magazine/digital track!

Didn't receive any info. since the application submitted on Jan.4. And I got great results from other programs. So I emailed them to ask about my status. About two hours later, got an email asking me to check the portal. I guess they already notified the successful/waitlisted applicants, they just didn't send the rejection letters to those who failed. (honestly, this trick of procrastination is disgusting and does not respect applicants and other schools)

plus 18k scholarship

TTPB: UMD is on break. I called ahead because I had a job offer and was informed of my offer. They should be following up very soon!

Thrilled to have gotten in and into the documentary track
