Not terribly surprising - lots of relevant work experience, but not a great GPA or quat GRE score. Oh well. Best of luck to other applicants.

Rejection not wholly unexpected. Master's GPA in Mechanical Engineering is weak (3.3), had no psychological research experience, and probably not specific enough in Statement of Purpose.

Shocked that my mediocre GRE scores didn't make the cut. Well, a girl from a small farm town can dream and give it a shot. Stranger things have happened... After all Trump is now POTUS. Best of luck to all those who applied.

Reached out to POI and he said they couldn't offer a spot. It's a bummer but I really appreciated how nice he was about it.

Was informed by PI that I was his pick and that he was guaranteed a graduate student this cycle. Haven't yet received official notice from the school.

Emailed to ask about interviews/admission status. "Applications are presently under review. You will be notified by email when a decision has been made on your application. Decisions will be available to view by logging into your application using your login and password. All decisions will be made by early March." Also, they said not all departments interview.
