To all the University of Utah students waiting for a decision, has anyone been waitlisted? I saw 7-8 Ph.D. acceptance posted here. Checked the stats from last year 7-8 decisions were made in late Jan/early Feb and all few were in March (waitlisted ones supposedly).

We received over 1200 applications this year, and we could admit only a small fraction of the applicants, even though many more had strong qualifications.
