I also received the email about being on the top tier alternate list like several others here. I wonder if they did this so they could spend more time making selections? I am very excited and anxious as well. Good luck!

Notified on 17th that I was accepted, checked Portal the 18th and letter was in. Submitted app on 12th, no interview. Rolling Admission, so makes sense. No news on funding yet, that is in a couple of weeks (secondary process).

(ignore waitlist): I applied to Feminist Studies last year and didn't hear a word until the second half of April. I suspect this may be the case for many UCSD programs, unfortunately. Fingers crossed I'm wrong about that though bc waiting is truly hell :-(
