Not heard, probably another rejection. To the accepted students: how early did you guys submit your app? I submit my app 2 days before the deadline and I'm just wondering if this is the reason why they haven't sent out a rejection yet.

As I haven't heard a word since early March when I was told that the final decisions should be sent out very soon, I emailed Phd program officer of the department, and she replied that I should receive my decision by the end of week.

To the Georgetown compitational applicant that was accepted: were you already accepted before witt no funding information or were you only just got notified of your acceptance?

Email sent to check application website. Admitted without scholarship/fellowship assistance for the first year. Not sure if there is a tuition fee waiver or not. Anyone has any idea?

Oh, it took them so long to send a such a predictable response. Classic Georgetown. 2a/6r/0w/8 It's officially an end of my admission circle. Pretty happy with the results.

To the Georgetown posters, I have heard acceptances and rejections will still be rolling out through April 15, as the person below described. I declined my offer today, so that should help someone out

To the Georgetown poster below: I called last week and spoke with someone in the Department. They sent out the first round decisions on the 15th, so there are a number of possibilities at this point. Some received a rejection on or around the 15th along with those in 1st round acceptance. If you have not, it is my understanding (based on my conversation) that you are in one of the other "tiers" (re: weird waitlist) and you still have a shot at getting accepted should others decline their respective offers. Hope that helps, and please feel free to call/e-mail and ask and let the rest of us in the same boat know if you hear anything!

Application decision posted in portal. Decision letter states that financial letter including merit-based award details will follow.

They definitely value experience over academic performance!

Good GPA, GRE and recs. 2.5 years of work experience. 1 year was relevant. Will remove myself from wait list due to having been accepted with significant funding at SAIS. Also accepted at Fletcher and GW Elliott. Good luck to other wait list candidates!
