Hi poster below me! I saw your post and checked my portal-- it's the same! I know it doesn't mean much but it's exciting to hear something other than radio silence!

Unofficial email from a professor I do *not* know on a Sunday asking if I am still interested in their program. Invited to open house three days later.

Has anyone heard anything from UNC-Chapel Hill? I heard they were trying to get decisions out by the end of January. TIA!

received an email asking me to check the website. didn't have an interview, either.

Invited to virtual open house. Email said they are still in discussions with admin on the number of students they can admit. Also I found this in my SPAM folder.

Same as poster below - I haven't heard anything from UNC since applying, but my portal now says "Communications from The Graduate School and academic programs will commonly be sent via email. Please check your email junk/spam folders periodically to ensure you do not miss any messages." I applied to the Psychology and Neuroscience program, emphasis in Social Psychology.
