I am in actual disbelief. They don't have anything on their website, but from talking to professors I know they are starting a voice specialty track in the fall which I applied for.

Was expecting a rejection, so quite happy! Said they will start making acceptances off waitlist following the april 15th deadline, most likely will be paying enrollment fee to other school and waiting it out in case a spot opens up.

I am actually a bit surprised since not even a week ago I was notified about my waitlist status. Anyone else with the same bafflement?

I was contacted by my preferred academic advisor on 2/15, and we had an in-person interview on 2/21 since I happen to live in Pittsburgh. I checked admissions portal periodically after that and saw that it'd been updated today with a statement of acceptance, so go check yours! Good luck to you all.

I got waitlisted, but I already have a better offer, so I declined it.

Email to check portal. But it also said app was incomplete.. that seems kinda shitty. I wished they would've told me that I had missed something in the application eariler. When I submitted, it said nothing about "something" missing. but oh well.... not much I can do about it.

It's my humble request to all those students who have received an offer from University of Pittsburgh and are not planning to attend the university to please kindly decline your offer as soon as possible.
