Forget the waitlist part, no clue what's going on. I emailed the department and asked where the admission process is at and they said that they'll let me know around April. Does that mean a rejection? Shouldn't acceptances come by march ending? Is anybody familiar with this process know if that's a rejection?

Really surprised at rejection. 2 YOE, 4 strong LORs. Generic reject in application portal after email. Confusing letter as it seemed to reference the MESM program?

I will likely decline because I have an offer from an MS in CS program, which is more advantageous than this one for long-term tech careers. So hard to say no to Harvard though!

Received an email to check the portal and found that I was waitlisted. The admissions committee will reconvene in late May. Congrats to those admitted!

[Note Interviewed] TTPB: I saw a couple of wl's from other majors under the School of Public Health, so I assume that they are processing the wl's of health data science as well. I will keep my fingers crossed but I am pretty much prepared for a rejection as I haven't yet heard anything.

Has anyone asked the admissions about the exact date of releasing the decisions?

TTPB: I can't speak for CDS obviously, but all I got on admission letter was that I have 30 days from the time I received it (3/8) to decide whether I'd attend or not. So I assume that's around when they'll start looking into their waitlists and send out rejections/other admits? They are expecting a class size of 150.

TTPB (NYU MSDS): Do you know if any more acceptances are coming? I haven't received any notification yet. Should I expect a reject at this point?

Did everyone else hear back from Health Data Science? I only see three admits here but no rejects. I didn't get any email.

Logged in to the admission portal and I saw the acceptance decision notification and selected to receive an award of merit-based financial assistance but no numbers yet. After accepting the offer I got an email with the admission decision letter but still no number on funding I hope they are generous.

Ignore Interview; I'm an international student still waiting to hear back from NYU. Any idea if they will send out any more offers? Or is it likely to be a reject now?

Anyone hear in funding yet? Or any idea when that info might be released ?
