See quite lots of offers of this program... Just wondering that if there are still other "under review" people like me...?

To applicants who applied before funding line: Well, the graduate admission office's description says that the majority of offers of admission are made in February and March. If the application status is still 'under review by department' (me), does it mean to give up now? I do not care if I fail, but why is it still not giving me the results? Most US graduate schools informed me the result. I don't understand UK schools.. hum. It's annoying.

To the poster about diversity in UK: I totally agree. I am in the same boat. Got accepted by both Oxford and Cambridge but the supervisors told me during the interviews to find my own source of funding! Even before Trust results came out.

I really don't like this website (perhaps like many others), but, sadly end up looking at it every day. I was accepted to the PhD Genetics @Cambridge, Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP @Oxford, Applied math @Imperial and @Edinburgh, and Genetics @UCL. Here's what I want to put out there for future international students applying to the UK: IT'S A TRAP! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME W/ UNIVERSITIES IN THE UK. Unless you're from UK/EU/US/Commenwealth (e.g. India, Pakistan, Canada, Australia, etc), there is little to no chance that you would end up getting full scholarships. The word "Diversity" for universities in the UK is more of a joke than reality. Good luck!

My application is still on "under review by department" too... I did receive an informal acceptance by email from my proposed advisor a couple weeks ago though.

Asked the graduate secretary whether I was on the list of successful AHRC applicants. I was told I am neither on the successful list, nor on the reserve list. If you are waiting for news re AHRC for philosophy, do contact the administrator, who can tell you where your application stands.

Re the Philosophy PhD funding question below: I'm an EU applicant hoping for funding from AHRC or CambridgeTrust. Still haven't heard anything, but have been reassured that it need not mean anything. Hope results come in relatively soon-ish though, this waiting is killing me...

POLIS people - anybody heard anything new? I am an EU MPhil condidate but haven't heard anything about funding or my supervisor. Anybody heard about any of those two? Seems like it's been only the PhD people so far.
