TTPB: Can you share the message you received? Or are you the guy that kept spamming these days?

TTPB: Area of research: NLP+ML+Distributed Systems. No Interview, so no email from POI. I got official email from the department. Update (with offer letter) is also showing in the application portal.

Kind of excepted

Got a email regarding update on application status. Acceptance on application status website.

TTPB: What is your area of research and did you get email from POI? Also, any update on systems admits at Stony Brook?

To the posters below from IIT and others from elsewhere who got acceptance via website, if you don’t mind, can you share the link of the website that you could use to access your results? Thanks

Heartbreaking to see reject from MIT EECS Ph.D. program. I guess I shouldn't dream after all. 14 conference papers (9 first author, all good conference places) during the master's program from a top CS university. Hopefully had great LORs. Feel like committing suicide over this rejection. Not sure what more I could have done to get in the program. Congrats to those who got in. Better make use of the opportunity you have been granted.

To the UCSD admits below, when did you submit your application?

The timing of the mail is slightly odd.

Top 5 IIT, Area : Computer Vision

AI/Networking track. Two publications in the top conferences(1st author). Received an email to check the ApplyWeb. I have contacted a professor and had an interview with him in Dec last year. Brown literally gave me the highest salary among all the offers that I received so far.

TTPB: In which program did you apply? NLP/ML/Hci or others?

Saw acceptance on portal by chance. Haven't received an email yet. Welcome acceptance after rejection from MIT earlier. BTW I was the poster that earlier asked about the official transcript submission earlier. Looks like the website is getting updated slowly :)

Super excited. Wish you all the best guys.
