I email the graduate vice chair to inquire about my status, get the following reply. You are on the waitlist and the committee will make decisions for waitlisted applicants after April 15th. Unfortunately, you will not receive any decision before April 15th. I decide not to wait for UCLA and accept another offer.

Just declined funded admission to these programs. Very difficult decision given how great they both seem. Best of luck to everyone on the waitlist!

Really kind email - made a shortlist, but ultimately rejected

To the post below: Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, what's your AOI and when did you hear word?

I was on the waitlist and have since been offered admission into the program. I've accepted and am now ecstatic! Sean Walsh has been extremely helpful.

I've rejected fully funded offers (Maryland, UCLA) or taken myself off the waitlist at these programs. I've accepted an offer at UC San Diego. Good luck everyone!

QUESTION: Has anyone heard anything about (movement on) the UCLA waitlist or been in contact with Sean Walsh recently?

No GRE. Undergrad from top 10. 2 years work experience + 9 months research

Can someone who has got acceptance on 9th April mention when is their deadline for responding to the admits?
