Wait-listed. They accept new PhD students only every other year.

Accepted via e-mail and then by postal mail. They will decide on funding acceptance by mid-March. Excellent program -- hope I get funding!

The Ph.D. program has an interview weekend for all candidates, as all admitted students are fully funded and they like to get to know you. From what I understand, they invite about 20 and roughly half are selected.

They took their sweet ass time to tell me I was rejected a full two weeks late. My roommate read me the rejection letter on the phone to me as I am away on vacation.

Got accepted on 4.11.07 by email. Still haven't received paper acceptance. If anyone needs help relocating to new york, I work for the largest and oldest real estate firm in NYC. I just called and was told that they're "still making a decision regarding my application." I am happy not to have been rejected already, but I don't know how much longer I can LIVE like this. When I asked when they expect to make a decision, the woman who answered the phone told me she didn't know.

I got a Fedex packet at noon today. Nice letter inside by Vice Dean and a note from MacDonald. Good luck all!

No word down south, either. It is a bit mind boggling that the journalism program can't meet its own self-imposed deadline.

Still waiting in NYC. Anyone in a similar boat? I've emailed Leslie Akst and Robert MacDonald, and have left voicemail messages for both. No "just in case" email, no letter either way.

When I look at my admission status for this school at testudo, I get 'pending decision'. I saw here that people already knew weeks ago whether they are accepted or not from the testudo site, so what does this mean for me? Am I on the waitlist?

Still waiting in NYC for a response of any kind. I heard from an alum that Robert MacDonald has accepted a position over at the New School and starts there on April 12. I'm pretty annoyed that not only is my letter 2 weeks late, I still haven't received the back-up e-mail notification of their decision. I'm pretty sure I've been rejected, but this process has been so disorganized that I'm wondering how CU can have the audacity to charge a $90 application fee.

I got accepted via email - haven't gotten anything in the mail yet. Apparently letters have gotten lost, etc. There's still hope!
