I applied one month before the deadline without a GRE and a 3.1 GPA. Five years of work experience. The COVID-19 pandemic sparked my desire to get back into school and pursue a career in national security. My essays reflected that. That, and the recommendations, carried me this far. Close, but no cigar (yet). The SSP community were really supportive during the application process.

Standard rejection letter. Already expected as someone on forums was on waitlist and said new admissions for the program were meeting March 18.

GPA is grad I was sent an email with an attached decision letter. There was no interview process.

Got a warm but standardized letter (presumably sent to all rejected interviewees) saying that I'm qualified, I hope our paths cross-- that kind of vibe. Interview, as other said, was only 10-15 mins.

I was originally excited about this program, even though I was conflicted about the price like others posters here are. After talking to a few graduates of the program, I plan on turning this down accepting another offer. Nothing I heard from any of the folks I spoke to indicated it was worth the cost. That amount of money with no funding offers simply isn't worth it for their name as a line on my resume.

Please let them know asap if you don't plan to attend. Duke is my top choice and my dream school.

If you have yet to receive results then there is a high chance you have been rejected, or they are waiting for admitted students to accept or reject offer packages. There was a PhD recruitment event yesterday for admitted students.
