~$50k 2-year fellowship

acceptances were released like a week ago, LOVE when they send rejections later so fun!

Ignore waitlist. Does anyone knows why there are frequent acceptance at some random time but never heard about waitlist or rejection yet. I am eagerly waiting for UW.

Applied Chemistry and Technology Master's. GPA 3.87. No GRE. Research for a little less than a year and 1 paper submitted (but not accepted/published yet). Received an email with acceptance letter attached.

Received acceptance at the end of the interview. Honed SOP and 3 strong letters of recommendation from faculty very close to me.

bachelors in Industrial Engineering with minor in Data Science from BIG10 school, 3.913/4.0 GPA, 3 internships in data, no research experience or publications (might be a contributing factor to not getting accepted), no GRE.

REU at UW completed in 2021; a math major with ds minor in undergrad & three internships in DS-related research. Excited!

International from top Canadian Uni. Decent LORs. 1 year of non-DS work experience, 2 .5 years of math TA.

HEP-th. Research experience for more than 3 years. Currently doing a Masters at a top UK university, 2 papers, 990 Physics GRE. Finally, the wait is over! This is my second year applying and this year also had to see a few rejections till now. For those who are still waiting, don't lose hope. For first-time applicants who have not been accepted yet, don't give up. Find an opportunity (may be a really good masters program place or a project) where you can keep on learning and working in the field of your interest so that you come back with a better profile the next time.
