Sweet Baby Jesus what does that even mean Bryan Bradford? "Final decisions are being made"... Rejection had this weird line: "the main reason for this decision is that the Creative Writing program has already accepted the maximum number of students its faculty can support." Uhh, really? Kind of unbelievable when found in a generic form rejection. Also, why the emails to check the website? Can't that initial email just contain the rejection letter? Congrats to the admits!

Yeah, they didn't even bother to send an e-mail. 8 Rejections, 6 decisions pending... Hopes absent but life continues.

Checked portal after I saw others were posting. No email. Same response as the MFA applicants regarding reapplication and checking criteria despite everything being submitted.

Checked website. Generic rejection, but no "Should you wish to apply again for a future term..." line that other posters have noted.

To the poster below, thanks for letting me know. At least now I know there's a decent chance they actually reviewed my application. Oh well!

checked website. did anyone else get this sentence in the second paragraph: "Should you wish to apply again for a future term, please review the admissions criteria on the Creative Writing, MFA website and the prospective student section of the Graduate School website before submitting another application." [Prior to rejection, my status said "awaiting transcripts," but through email the dept. indicated they'd received them -- now wondering whether they ever read my app.]
