To the posters below, I first applied to the PhD, I was rejected and then offered to be considered for the MPhil in Economic Research. I am on hold for the Mphil since jan, but nothing has changed in my portal, actually it says I am still under review for the PhD

UK applicant here - have any masters candidates heard about funding yet? I got an email saying I'd been nominated in February, but haven't heard anything else.

To the poster below, it's really nice to be able to talk to somebody who is in the same boat! I submitted my application on 13 Jan and was put on hold on 7 Mar. No idea how many applications are on hold. I read somewhere that being put on hold is pretty common for econ candidates though, so not very sure if it's a good signal... Probably we'll see in a week or two given that the department is likely to be reviewing those on hold by now as you kindly shared with me! I'll post any updates here:)

To the posters below, I emailed Joanna around March the 20th asking especifically about the applications to the Mphil in Economic Research that were on hold. She said that they were currently finishing reviewing all the applications and they were soon start reviewing again those on hold.
