Course based.

Will be my safe option. Eagerly waiting for admits from west. Strong LOR. 2 IEEE publications. Offered GTA as well. I am not quite sure why there seems to be a negative outlook for computer science faculty among current aspirants. Probably due to rise in international tensions. Must exercise caution.

Is there anyone else waitlisted? :(

Hi, congrats to all the admits. were you all invited to the open house?

TTPB: Thanks for letting me know. Big Congrats on your acceptance!! I have seen my GARS decision "admit" on 25th, however, still, GSMS is pending. Did you shoot them any email for the funding query?

I received an email saying my status had been updated. I did not expect the rejection.

Thank you for your interest in the EPFL Doctoral Program in Robotics, Control, and Intelligent Systems, EDRS. We would like to confirm that your application has been accepted by the EDRS Admissions' Committee and that you are admissible to the program. Indeed, your admissibility is valid for one year from the date of this email. The next step in order to be admitted to the program is to be hired in a laboratory and to have a thesis director. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that only 1/3 of the admissible candidates are hired. Please note that your application will shortly be available to the EDRS affiliated professors, meaning that should a professor be interested in your profile, he/she will most likely contact you within the next few months, either for further discussion or for an interview invitation.

TTPB: Congrats! What area and under which Prof.?

Email from university saying to check application status page, which had an admission offer/funding info
