My first acceptance! So excited as it has a good fit! 1a / 4r / 6p

Applied directly from B.A. program. No GRE results. I received a call from the department head (they left a voicemail) followed by an email with the news. A formal letter to come soon.

Thank you very much for applying to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University. I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission. As you know, the very high number of extraordinary candidates far exceeds the number of places we have in each program, and we are not able to admit many excellent candidates.

Hope for the best.

Email to check portal, generic rejection letter. Not too bummed about it bc I already was accepted to UCLA 2a/0i/3r/0w

IGNORE Interview. Has anyone heard yet about American Studies at Yale? Based on previous years, it might still be too early but I'm growing really anxious about it

No GRE submitted. GPA is grad. Got an email to check the portal. Not a great match for my research, totally get it

Had an interview and got a personal letter saying I didn't up on the final list
