To those rejected by berkeley, were they interviewed? wonder what they want after international (including american) journalistic and academic experience?

Pleasant, personal letter. On time, too.

I got an email saying I was accepted and that they mailed out the packet on March 3. Full funding for two years!

oh well...i'm just waiting for northwestern and columbia!

Received a call saying I'm admitted. He said the official letter would follow, but they wanted to let accepted candidates know as early as possible.

received a reject mail, not surpised. just wish I hear better news next time.

Financial aid info was to follow, recieved the word today that I was turned down for funding.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this program versus Berkeley or Columbia?

diddle-diddle

Already accpected elsewhere with full tuition waiver and stipend.

"an unprecedented number of well-qualified applicants made admission to our program extremely competitive." Uh Huh. I'd like real reasons, please.

Already accepted elsewhere with full scholarship. Haha.

admission package with the information of my financial aid will be sent by postal mail. He said the aid is pretty competitive. :)

Just got a voice mail saying I'd been accepted and giving me contact info for people to get in touch with for more information.

After the interview session on Feb. 14, I was selected as an "alternate."

i'm from southern california, interviewing with a local alumna next week. for the person who interviewed already, any questions you can remember them asking?
