Email to check the portal received at 12:23am PT. On the portal: a form rejection letter. 0a/0w/1r/3p

To be honest, this waitlist notification doesn't seem that special. I'm pretty sure they waitlist everyone who doesn't get it, which seems pretty inconsiderate considering the fact that they only have FIVE offers across all the genres and they get a lot of people's hopes up. They also haven't been very communicative at all through this process. Radio silence when I responded to their waitlist email with questions. It's a no from me. Maybe that will move somebody else higher up on the list? IDK. Good luck (3A/2W/3R/0P)

Email stated waitlist means top 15% of applicants. 1a/3w/4r/4p

In and also fully funded via GTA. 1a/3w/4r/4p

Got an email that there was a status update to my portal. This is my top choice of program, so if you're one of those who were accepted and you plan to reject the offer, that would go a long way! xoxo

Notification to check portal. "No funding at this time" though so likely will give this place to someone else, but the validation is super nice.

Email received: "Greetings! Congratulations! If you are receiving this message, it means that you are on the waitlist for the University of Mississippi's MFA program. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of how the faculty has ranked the list, so hang tight! Best wishes, Blair"
