Still waiting to know about admission, no rejection letter yet.

It's the last five days of April. Has anyone heard from IRES' PhD program? Is it pathetic that I'm still waiting for news from them?:( It's 99% a reject, but I need the closure!

Waited almost half a year with no communication. To give the benefit of the doubt, i believe they are still reviewing applications hence there have been waves of admits and rejects.

I am very sad :(

Already had an offer from an American university, but actually wanted to move to Canada. Didn't apply to "backup" Canadian universities thinking that getting into UBC is easier than getting into American universities. I was wrong.

Found I was rejected after checking the website, no email. I already accepted elsewhere so no big deal at all!

All 4 schools admitted me, but I'm sure opting for UIUC

I have heard from a source that most people will be notified by 2 weeks but it will mostly be rejections... those that don't hear back after that will be on some kind of wait list or are being held for unknown reasons...
