Specialization: AI. Received an email from the department telling me that I'm being recommended. Then three days later I received the offer. No publication. One year of research experience.

to the ucsd admit below with the following profile: Undergrad from a Tier 3 college in India. 321 GRE 3 publications Could you please tell about your publications, are these in indian conferences like springer or ieee or these international like acl or emnlp, etc This would help me for my profile, thanks

Coming from a good undergrad hearing and speech program and had a high gpa and good clinical and research experience. seems like A LOT of people applied this year. a little sad but ill end up where I'm meant to be :)

Received an email from program coordinator after interview weekend (Feb 26-27).

Very competitive cycle but will decline! Great PI though. Hope this helps someone.

3.89 GPA, 4.0 CSD. Research, leadership, volunteering, and TA/LA experience. Lots of shadowing. California schools are tough, and I am out of state. So, I"m not surprised!

Um just to answer the last question, I have not heard back from Scripps since the Open House last month. When I spoked to my PI then, it seemed as if the committee would be making decisions in March for AOS.
