Received what I suspect to be a form email, but a kind one nonetheless. 1r/4p/0a

No GRE, no demand for funding, 3 publications, two years of research experience, a Master's degree, and positive return from the professors so I thought it was a fit but bad end.

No GRE

US/international history specialization. POI reached out via email informing me that they are nearing their first round of applicant review, and that it is customary for first readers/potential advisers to conduct an informal interview.

Got the invite to interview on 1/25, interviewed on 1/31. They said that they'd get back with decisions by Feb 9 (!!). First one i've heard back from.

Ignore waitlisted. Does anyone hear back about applied physics programs in northwestern and Umich?
