Was told that I am on the waitlist for the PhD but that I am admitted to the MA program... I took my name off the waitlist and told them I don't want to attend the MA.

Modern/Contemporary. It seems like there may be a lot of us on the waitlist...yikes. I was really hoping for an offer!

Emailed the professor who interviewed me back in January to confirm that the offers were already out – its over! Guess I'm moving to the east coast. Rejections will be emailed in a generic email sometime within the next few weeks.

I haven't heard anything from the IFA/NYU either. I already have an MA from the IFA

My field is Modern & Contemporary - this is my top choice, please notify them if you're not going to accept!

Really hoping accepted students decide soon and I can get off this dang thing!

I didn’t revive any notification either. I opted for consideration for the MA. This might be the reason we haven’t heard anything yet. One poster below noted they did not want consideration for the MA.
