TTPB: I cannot tell you the exact name of that faculty, but he is not my POI. My second department choice was ME and he is an adjunct professor of ME and AAE. I think an interview offer is not only my case because my colleague also got an interview offer from Purdue ME and he is now accepted.

It means that you must work as research assitant to hold the monthly stipend. It is part time, 20 hours per week. I also wonder, did your letter say that they offered you a Research Assistanship, or Graduate RA?

What is a part-time 50% FTE RA scholarship?

Interviewed with a faculty member yesterday and got an email today inviting me to a (virtual) campus visit!

Invited for second round of interviews in February 12.

Graduate college person emailed me saying I have been accepted. I submitted my app on the 12th. 2+ years research experience. No pubs or poster presentation. Undergrad from a top 5 program in the US.
