4.0 Masters GPA - Waitlisted. If anyone got accepted to this program and will reject and accept elsewhere, please let me know I'd really appreciate it! This is my top choice!

Generic rejection email. Am mostly disappointed as they took their sweet time to notify of the rejection. I'd almost lost hope. Was still super upsetting to receive the email. Email was sent at 6:28 pm PST. Good luck to everyone applying to grad school!

TTPB: I applied on 1/11. My application status is the same now as then: submitted. Infer that I have been waitlisted. Emailed DGS on 4/12: was told that people offered admission had until 4/15 to decide, whereupon the admissions committee would reconvene. No word since 4/12.

Submitted application day before early admin deadline, notified 27 days later. Hear they try to get it back within a month. Got 30% tuition scholarship for being poor. Still waiting to hear for other scholarships. SO EXCITED!!!

Didn't submit GRE. Letters of rec, overall experience, and language abilities stood out for the admissions committee.

Offered a $16,000 scholarship

Not even a proper rejection email but instead an email to check portal after many ignored emails about the waitlist nearly a week after the April 15th deadline. This one hurt.

Accepted by email, nothing yet on funding or college acceptance.

Declined my offer. No funding, as I applied after the first deadline.

Just as a note for future applicants: I was originally accepted with no funding, but ultimately received the 20k fellowship (notification day is the day I received the upgraded offer). All students accepted to the program are put on a waiting list for funding, and if someone turns down their offer, they give it to the next person on the list.

2 years experience in the field, interviewed with two professors

I was told that I will hear back in May 2021 about their decision.
