Please ignore the waitlist Have anyone applying for Geotechnical engineering received admission? Until now, I have not received any updates 😔

No interview -- rejected upon email inquiry, with the official rejection email coming later that day. Oof, was hoping for at least a waitlist -- my SOP discussed my interest in working on a project that UT has strong involvement in, using an instrument I already have experience with (I thought that might give me leverage)

"Ignore the Waitlisted"! Has anyone heard from UT Austin for Computer Science Masters yet? Is it just me still saying "In Review" ?

Ignore waitlist. Anyone know what is going on right now?

890 PGRE (79th percentile). Graduated with Masters from an ivy. 3 years of research. National award and university awards. 1 second-author pub, 1 manuscript, many conferences.

Did not submit the GRE at all!

Undergrad at old IIT, research internship at NUS and IISC, no research papers.

1 research paper at WACV, multiple at Neurips, ICCV workshops. Research experience at Uber and CMU.

I applied for the school without GRE score.

They didn't even send a program change notification via email, was just getting antsy and checked randomly

Notified by email with financial aid package. Interests are in theory in statistical mechanics

honestly, just happy to not be rejected. this is my top choice, so please let them know if you are not planning to accept. 4a/2w/1r/1p

Anybody waiting to hear from UT Austin today?

Anyone heard from any updates from the English Department?

Please ignore waitlist. I am quite anxious to know if anyone has received any sort of communication from them. Please comment if you have!

International applicant from India. I've been hurrying with all my admission procedures since the acceptance. There is a long wait for visa interview, flight tickets are expensive, etc. Please try to complete your applications for the first round deadlines for better time management and scholarships.
