Those who have been interviewed for MS Computer Science, congo! I need to know a few things: 1. Do we get 15/20 seconds preparation time after question appears on the screen or how does it go? 2. Do we get a single chance to record? Or 2 chances?

To those accepted: Congrats! How long after completing the interview did you get your decision?

TTPB: After interview, it is moved to previous interview and I received a confirmation email.

Those who have completed the interview, does the interview portal still show yours as interview pending? I ask because mine hasn't moved to the "previous interviews" section

TTPB: Congrats on your admission! Could you please specify your POI and/or research area? Thanks in advance

It's the end of the first week of March, still no acceptance/rejection email from MILA. This is turning out to be frustating.

Accepted but was told CS department does not support MS applicants with GA.

Hi waitlisted people, any updates on how long the wait may be.

and there're no technical questions, the questions are about your goals, how MSCS at Columbia would help you achieve your goals and some personal questions

TTPB: you would be answering 5 questions, 2 minutes for each. You can film your answer to each question twice if you're not satisfied with your first attempt.

:(

When is Waterloo going to start sending out decisions for MMATH CS Spring 2020?

Email to check website. Currently study another M.S degree in U.S.

3 years of development + research experience, 1 conference publication as 1st author and 2 journal publications (2nd and 4th author). My first admit after getting rejects from many colleges 1.5 years back! Persistence pays :)

Decent GPA, 3 strong Letters of recommendation, 1 internship, and 2 international publications.

My grades weren't stellar. But good recos from two of my profs under whom I have done some research might have helped. My first admit.

Just got the email about the interview today. Could someone who took the interview shed some lights on how it was like? Was there any technical question for you? And how long did it take?
