This is ridiculous -- a rejection notice on April 11? I will certainly not be applying to UW's creative writing program again. Very disappointed in how long it took to get this. 6r/0a/0w

From waitlist. Accepted the offer.

Email to check website, and then a letter from the Dean. Funny: ND could never answer an email, despite giving a contact for questions. Then, when the rejection comes, I *still* haven't heard from the department. I'm not bitter - I got into my dream school - but it seems like a really lousy way to run a graduate program.

email to check website. pretty much figured as much at least they finally told me. i have other options so it's ok. i emailed the MFA coordinator and she said the most bizarre mildly unprofessional stuff to me about how i should probably take funding if it was offered elsewhere.

Received an e-mail to check my application status online. While the letter itself was kindly worded, I am really disappointed that it took this long to finally receive my official rejection--just seems really unprofessional to me.

Anyone have any updates? Have they sent out all acceptances for fiction?

On unofficial waitlist before receiving official rejection email (and like others have noted, one that's nicely worded).

Has anyone been accepted off the UM-Ann Arbor waitlist yet for fiction? Trying to weigh my chances. Thanks!

I just declined an offer at USF. Great program. Good luck to those on the wait list!

I saw that some people got acceptances already from Montana and Colorado, but has anyone gotten declined? I assume I'm waiting on rejections, I just haven't heard anything yet.

Stellar program, but I have declined my offer to attend elsewhere. Best of luck to those of you on the wait list! 5a/4r/2w

Email from the program director, Daryl Farmer. No number on the wait list or other size details. He's said he'll keep me informed. Anyone here with an admit from UAF but not planning to enroll? If yes, please let them know soon!

No indication of waitlist position in email. Am weighing other offers and will likely take myself off this waitlist. Good luck to everyone else in limbo, and congrats on admits! UAF is a cool program.
