TTPB: it really depends. They have stated on their website that it is recommended for people who have got their degree outside of Canada, especially if it's not from well known N American uni or if GPA is low. Btw, I am also kind of in a similar situation. Hopefully the recommendation should help. Do you mind sharing your GPA and the PoI you applied to?

Prof said that they were making GRA offers now and the earlier fellowship offers were already made. Said I'll get to know of his decision in couple of days

My status has just been changed to "Complete and submitted.". It said before that I could still upload new documents. Does anyone know what it means and approx. how much time I have left before I get the decision ? Thanks a lot

TTPB: I am current Stanford undergrad. I talked with admission team last week. They can not guarantee when will the admission result be sent. I can also assure you all the dates you have seen so far are fake. As you might know, our program is also highly selective. I would just keep waiting. Do not have high hope.

The Computer Science department has informed me that you will not be offered admission to their department. They enroll an extremely limited number of MS students and you were not selected. However, your application was forwarded to us, the Information Technology MS Program, since you have strong credentials and perhaps this program might be of interest to you. WELP

TTPB, which email did you use to query the admission result? Did you use [email protected]? How long will they reply?

Interviewed on 30th Jan and then a task, got a yes and he gave strong recommendation on 25th Feb. The only issue is I've no GRE. Any similar timeline? Would I get rejected?

No papers. TTPB, I am sorry. The only way for a PhD in CS with a focus on ML is simply knowing Profs beforehand or have reco writers who know your PoI. I got into a similar ranked (top 5) school by precisely doing that. This process is unfair and doesn't take into consideration, academic merit.
