The below applies to people in the WL too, if you are not planning to attend NYU. Being through this process, I believe you can understand how stressful all of this gets.

Actual waitlist. Folks who are not accepting admission here *please* let them know. This will give people who are on the waitlist a chance. This is an earnest request. All you need to do is email [email protected].

Received email at 12am NYC time European student: econ undergrad - quant finance graduate from top local university quant finance internships, ML-oriented master's thesis

Actual WL, got an email from admin

TTPB with the admit: Could you please let us know if you had any research experience, papers or publication, or any projects/relevant work experience. Just trying to gauge what is this admission committee looking for.

TTPB: what was your GPA? (Ignore interview)

Applied on 01/02/2021, so the application review took almost 5 weeks

I was shocked to be admitted as I have a low GPA but I'm super excited! Anyone hear back for scholarships?

Ignore wl. Just wondering for those admitted, are your TOEFL/GRE scores on the portal marked as unofficial or official?

Lack of data analyst experiences.

ignore wl TTPB: I think the applications are still under review since someone earlier mentioned the email from admissions saying they will get decisions out through early April. And i think most of the ppl who got rejected don't feel like posting it anyways lol

Assumed rejected when I wasn't invited for an interview, even though I reached out to a prospective supervisor who recommended I apply and provided detailed feedback on my proposal. Very odd.

Ignore the WL, I'm wondering will all the pending applications be rejected? Since just haven't seen one rejection so far.

Global Leaders Scholarship 7k/year, but will decline as funding not enough.

No finaid, so will decline.

Rejected from all top UK schools so far, even though I'm getting admitted into top US schools. Not really sure what UK schools want at this point.
