Actually I don't quite get why CU Boulder CS master would receive such a volume of competitive applications. The tuition fees are not cheap and the ranking&location are not that great either. Aren't schools like Minnesota or TAMU better choices? | ||||

I believe that the SOP is really really important because last year my essay was so poor(It was just a resume in a paragraph format). TTPB: You can see their current submission rates if you search "Georgia Tech admissions tableau". They've accepted 3 "just" CS PhDs at this point, and based on trends they'll accept ~110 more. Eventually. :) | ||||
